A Season of Renewal at Alpine Village
Welcoming a New Era of Luxury Cabins in Jasper National Park
As the crisp autumn air settles over the Athabasca River, we at Alpine Village Cabin Resort are taking a quiet moment to reflect on a truly monumental year. The 2026 season has been one of profound renewal. While Jasper National Park continues its natural cycle of ecological regeneration after the 2024 Jasper Wildfires, our team has been meticulously crafting the next chapter of our family legacy. We have dedicated this past year to rebuilding and reimagining our grounds to ensure your current and future stays are nothing short of immaculate. We are thrilled to share the milestones we have achieved and offer a glimpse into the pristine retreats awaiting our guests.
Introducing the Executive One Bedroom Cabins
In early July 2026, we proudly unveiled the first two cabins of our ambitious rebuild project. Our new Executive One Bedroom Cabins represent a thoughtful evolution of our classic woodland aesthetic. Custom-designed in collaboration with a renowned interior designer, these serene spaces offer a modern take on the traditional wilderness hideaway. They introduce a contemporary elegance while remaining deeply rooted in our serene natural setting. Guests will discover exceptional finishes and an uncrowded atmosphere perfectly suited for a quiet, restorative retreat for two.

The Signature Family Cabins
Knowing how deeply our guests value multi-generational connection, we completed our new Signature Family Cabins in early September. These spaces elevate the Alpine Village experience while retaining the warmth that families have loved for decades. The design beautifully balances luxury and practicality. Notable enhancements include a beautiful gas fireplace for cool evenings, a luxurious king bed situated in the upper loft, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Recognizing the importance of convenience during a family holiday, these cabins also include one and a half bathrooms to ensure complete comfort for everyone.
The Return of the Whistler One Bedroom Cabins
Our vision continues to unfold as we look towards next spring. Throughout this year, we have been bringing twelve new Whistler One Bedroom Cabins to life. Each of these features a full kitchen and a spacious living room anchored by a traditional wood-burning fireplace. The separate bedroom boasts a plush king bed for uninterrupted rest. Perhaps the most striking feature is the custom-designed glass walk-in shower, which beautifully incorporates a river stone tower and an exposed natural log. We will have several of these cabins newly ready for booking in May of 2027.
Looking Ahead to 2027 in a Regenerating Landscape
Jasper National Park is transforming. The surrounding wilderness provides a fascinating ecological journey for those who appreciate untouched natural beauty. As the landscape regenerates, it reveals a breathtaking resilience that makes visiting an unforgettable experience. For the latest guidelines on exploring this dynamic environment, we recommend checking the official Parks Canada website before your journey.
Our team is focused on achieving the full completion of our rebuild by July 2027. Once finished, we will offer a collection of 48 private cabins ready to serve as your personal sanctuary. We invite you to explore our new cabin styles and prepare for our reservation bookings opening on the 4th of January, 2027.
